We spent a week at the Big Chill in August with our three boys. A stunning and elegant family-friendly property with every need and comfort catered for - the Big Chill is luxury defined. The Big Chill offers space in abundance. The vast living areas, both indoors and out, huge kitchen, spacious bedrooms and luxurious bathrooms - not to mention the additional and equally stunning guesthouse; make this the perfect choice for families holidaying together.
The owners of the Big Chill have anticipated every need a guest may have, from the best-equipped kitchen I have ever seen to the spacious laundry room, outdoor shower area and large shaded areas for respite from the sun. We lived in the water, be it swimming in the pool, using the Big Chill’s kayaks and paddle boards in the canal or best of all, heading out by boat from Big Chill’s jetty and exploring remote beaches, snorkelling, wakeboarding and swimming. On the evenings we stayed in, we cooked a feast on the BBQ and watched the sunset over the canal. Paradise. - MP.

Big Chill, our beautiful newly built modern concrete holiday villa. We visited in heat of August so the air conditioning throughout the whole property was a huge saviour! With a BBQ grill outside, a separate tv room (I watched football in this room!), swimming pool and integrated music system in and outside the house – this was the perfect property for entertaining and being entertained!
The kitchen is large and open plan so perfect for entertaining, in fact we spent quite a few nights entertaining friends for dinner. We were able to relax and have fun in the kitchen while in the dining and still keep an eye on the kids while they played outside in the pool. The washing machine and dryer were a huge help in this regard too!
At the back of the property is a dock where we were able to rent a boat with a driver who took us out to different parts of the island for snorkelling. I’m not the best of swimmers but the waters in parts are crystal clear and calm while we were taken to parts where we could see some coral. The highlight was of course having some dolphins swim up to us in the open water while snorkelling!! Our driver told us he was a bit of a local legend in the area called Jojo. - TD.

We spent 7 amazing days at The Big Chill with grandparents, partner/siblings and young children and it was absolutely sublime. The location on the Leeward part of the island is tranquil yet perfectly located to easily access the beautiful nearby beaches. We spent our time there eating, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and just enjoying the glorious weather and view. Some of the highlights of this luxurious and tasteful place are:
- A fully stocked kitchen with all the gadgets you may need and an outdoor BBQ. The large dining areas were perfect for our large group of 7 adults and 4 kids.
- An amazing firepit to hang out with friends alfresco
- Endless gear for water activities - paddle boarding, kayaks and snorkels a plenty - which was really nice for our varied ages and adventures.
The villa management was perfect - helpful and responsive. They helped us source highchairs and pack n plays easily, and also helped us find an amazing chef, whose creations were delicious and impeccably met our varied dietary needs.

The Big Chill lives up to its name from the moment you approach the gates. When you drive in and take in the surroundings you instantly feel relaxed and a sense of calm all around. The Villa is literally brand new and of the highest standard from top to bottom (and I know because I am one of those pernickety people that notices every little detail). The Villa was huge and was at full capacity when we stayed (10 days in August 2017). Although we had the 2 bedroom guest house we spent most of our time in the main house. Also to add the guest house was lovely it comes fully equipped with its own kitchen and living area as well as 2 separate Veranda's.
The main house was at full capacity when we were there as we were part of a group of all different ages from 5 year olds, teenagers and adults. The layout is so fantastic that we didn’t get in each other’s way. If you wanted peace and solitude you could get it but at the same time if you wanted to socialise and listen to music you could without disturbing the others as there were so many different zones.
My top picks were the roof terrace, fire pit (simply divine in the evening ) - although it was never cold we loved it so much we used it anyway. The children simply loved the pool but I preferred to jump straight into the canal. We also had use of the paddle boards which was a massive bonus. It was very hot during the day and when we have stayed in villas previously we have been forced to stay inside the air-conditioned rooms .The Big Chill however had an outside terrace which was covered and was a bit of a wind tunnel which meant we got a lovely breeze even during the hottest part of the day. - JK

A group of 5 couples chose this home for our week vacation in Turks and Caicos. The location was perfect, the setting peaceful, the decor top notch, and the amenities were beyond all of our expectations. There was a daily cleaning crew who laundered our towels and cleaned up our breakfast/kitchen mess. So polite and trustworthy as well. The included paddle boards and kayaks were the icing on the cake! - KS
